How to View a JPEG Image From a Data CD With the Sony DVP-F41MS CD/DVD Player

You can view JPEG image files from Data CDs with your Sony DVP-F41MS CD/DVD Player. A Data CD includes CD-ROM, CD-R and CD-RW. The player will display JPEG image files recorded with a digital camera only when the image file format and the directory structure suit DCF (Design rule for Camera File system).

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Data-CD
  • Sony DVP-F41MS CD/DVD Player
Step1
Put a DATA-CD into the Disc tray. This will show you the Control Menu on the screen if an MP3 audio tracks or JPEG image file is recorded on the DATA-CD.
Step2
Select "Image" by using  /  on the remote.
Step3
Press "Play" or "Enter." The first JPEG image file recorded on the DATA-CD will be played.
Step4
Play the next or previous file by pressing >>| or |<<.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can also select image by using >>| or |<< on the player.
  • JPEG image files which are larger than 4720 dots vertically or horizontally may not appear on the screen.
