Tips & Warnings
Beaches are less crowded in the mornings and evenings than in the afternoons; and you are also more likely to find a quiet beach on a weekday than during the weekend.
Looking for a slightly longer getway? Consider a camping trip to any of the lakeside camping areas.
If red warning flags are displayed at the beaches to let visitors know there is a dangerous current, stay out of the water.
