3
Consider Misquamicut State Park in Westerly where you'll be able to take advantage of the park's seven miles of beach. Here you'll be able to spread out.

4
Consider East Lyme's Rocky Neck State Park, with its wooded areas and beachfront stretch.
-
5
Consider the beach at Watch Hill. It tends to be more quiet than other beaches, but it does mean taking a bit of a walk (half a mile or more) to reach it.
