If you want to feel the sun and surf against your bare skin during your next trip to Puerto Rico, you can visit three sites. Follow these guidelines, but exercise caution. Nude sunbathing or swimming is illegal in Puerto Rico. If you are caught, you could serve time in jail!

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Visit Lighthouse Beach and look for the hill. Continue up and over it, and then walk until you reach an isolated area where you can doff your clothes.
Step2
If you're in Fajardo, visit the red sands of Playa Colora at the northern end. Start at Seven Seas Beach and walk down to the shore. Look for a lighthouse to your right. Turn left and follow the trail near the lagoon. Stay to the right of the trail until you reach the beach.
Step3
At Seven Seas, you can also walk past the lighthouse to Verve Beach. Continue until you reach the tip of the beach where you'll see nude sunbathers.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not dive into the water from the cliffs at Playa Colora. The water is too rough.
