How to Make a Vodka Slush

Make a vodka slush to serve at parties or just to enjoy on a hot summer day. This sweet frozen drink tastes like a treat from your childhood but packs enough punch to break the ice and let the fun or relaxation flow.

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 8 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons instant tea powder
  • 1 can frozen orange juice
  • 1 can frozen lemonade
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups vodka
  • lemon-lime soda
  • stove
  • sugar
  • plastic container
  • refrigerator
  • glassware
  • vodka
  • orange juice
  • can frozen lemonade
  • water
  • large pot
  • lemon-lime soda
  • instant tea powder
  1. Step 1

    Fill a large pot with the sugar and 8 cups of water. Boil until the sugar is completely dissolved.

  2. Step 2

    Remove from the heat and stir in the tea powder.

  3. Step 3

    Mix in the orange juice, lemonade and 2 cups of water.

  4. Step 4

    Set in the refrigerator to cool, then mix in the vodka.

  5. Step 5

    Pour into a large plastic container and place in the freezer overnight.

  6. Step 6

    Serve by filling a glass half full of slush, and half full of lemon lime soda. Stir and enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use a plastic container that is large enough to contain any expansion that may occur during freezing.
  • This looks like ice cream, so keep out of the reach of children.
  • Don't drink and drive.
