You may want to buy a smart phone for yourself but the wide array of choices has proved too intimidating. Here are a few steps to compare smart phones:

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Internet access
  • Computer
Step1
Search the Internet for consumer sites that compare the best available smart phones.
Step2
Compare at least three consumer sites. Use your information to narrow your list of choices.
Step3
Set up your budget and a list of necessary features.
Step4
Compare features and prices.
Step5
Visit electronics and phone stores both in person and online, and gather more information.
Step6
Choose the best product for you and make your purchase. Don't forget to keep your receipt, so you have something to present in case there are problems.

Tips & Warnings

  • Ask yourself a few questions such as: Does the phone in which you're interested have a camera? If so, what is the camera's resolution? Can e-mails be easily retrieved and read? If it has a keyboard, is it in an unusual form or a full QWERTY? And, does it allow you to easily install new applications?
