If you want to sunbathe and swim without a suit in Guadelupe, you have only one option. Follow these steps to find the beach known as Plage Tarare.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Plage Tarare is a small cove near Pointe-des-Chateaux and, although tiny, naturists considered this one of the finest clothing optional beaches in the world.
Step2
For easy access to the beach, you might stay at Salines Vacances bungalows. These accommodations sit within a five-minute walk to the sands. For reservations, visit their Web site at www.salinesvacances.com. However, you must be able to read French.
Step3
You will need a map or a local to guide you to reach the beach. Follow the road to Pointe-des-Chateaux and turn off at the sign for Plage Tarare. You'll see it next to a sign for a Creole restaurant.
Step4
You won't find any facilities on the beach, although there is a restaurant just at the top of the path leading to the water.
