Things You'll Need:
- 1 1/2 cups whole-wheat flour
- 1 1/4 cups cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/4 lb. margarine
- 1 clove garlic
- Approx. 1 tbsp. milk
- Cheese grater (optional)
- Medium to large mixing bowl
- Large cutting board
- Knife or cookie cutter
- Baking sheet
-
Step 1
Remove the margarine and cheese from the refrigerator and grate the cheese with the cheese grater (unless it's pre-packaged grated cheese). Let both the margarine and cheese stand until room temperature.
-
Step 2
Cream the cheese with the softened margarine, garlic and flour in the mixing bowl.
-
Step 3
Add enough milk to form a ball and chill in the refrigerator for about a half-hour.
-
Step 4
Dust the cutting board with flour. Roll the dough onto the floured board and cut into dog biscuit shapes.
-
Step 5
Place the biscuits onto the cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees F for 15 minutes.
