How to Find a Nude Beach in Astypalea, Greece

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

1. Visit Tzaniki Beach, located near Livadi. From the port of Chora, you can either take the bus or hike to reach Livadi.
2. When you reach the shoreline of Livadi, walk up the hill at the far end of the beach. Turn left at the church.
3. Continue walking until you reach a fence that spans the length of the hill to the water. Follow the path along the fence to the clothing optional area.

Tips & Warnings

• Do not doff your clothes in any of the areas where you see signs forbidding nudity.
• Beaches in Greece may change from topless to naturist to clothed from one year to the next. Ask locals if the rules have changed.
