Search for Web sites, load maps and driving directions, access photos and get important information like weather reports and stock prices—all from the convenience of your cell phone. Loading Yahoo! Go and experiencing this service for yourself is relatively simple. Here's how.

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer with Internet connection
  • Motorola cell phone that is Web-enabled
  • Yahoo! account

    Check to Ensure Your Cell Phone Is Compatible With Yahoo! Go

  1. Step 1

    Visit the Yahoo! Go homepage (see Resources below).

  2. Step 2

    Read through the details of the program. For a tour, click the Yahoo! Go 2.0 See It Live button.

  3. Step 3

    Click "Get Yahoo! Go Now."

  4. Step 4

    Check to see if your cell phone supports Yahoo! Go. Enter your number into the form provided, and click "Check My Phone."

  5. Step 5

    Read the text message sent to your cell phone to confirm its compatibility.

  6. Start Using Yahoo! Go

  7. Step 1

    Click the icon that corresponds to your cell-phone carrier on the Get Yahoo! Go page.

  8. Step 2

    Enter your phone number into the form.

  9. Step 3

    Click "Send to My Phone."

  10. Step 4

    Follow the instructions to link to Yahoo! Go in the corresponding text message.
