How to Add Photos to Listings on Yahoo! Real Estate

Yahoo! Real Estate is one of the most popular venues for property sales and rental listings, and the inclusion of photos is perhaps the most crucial part of the process. Buyers need a visual to grab their interest. By following a few simple steps, you'll be able to input your property's photos into your listings with ease.

  • Digital photos of the property
  • Internet connection
  • Computer

    Add Photos to Property Listings

  1. Step 1

    Visit the Yahoo! Real Estate homepage (see Resources below) to begin the process.

  2. Step 2

    Click "Sign In" if you haven't yet logged into your Yahoo! account, or click "Sign Up" if you don't yet have an account to create one. This is a required step.

  3. Step 3

    Return to the Yahoo! Real Estate homepage and ensure that you are logged in by verifying the presence of your username.

  4. Step 4

    Click the "Post a Home Listing" link.

  5. Step 5

    Choose a category and sub-categories for your classifieds ad in the pre-populated listings.

  6. Step 6

    Click "Continue."

  7. Step 7

    Type all of the available listing information and click "Continue."

  8. Step 8

    Click "Choose File" to select a picture to upload from your computer.

  9. Step 9

    Browse through your hard drive, click on the selected file and click "Upload."

  10. Step 10

    Verify that the picture appears in the provided space.

  11. Step 11

    Follow the remaining prompts from the site to add more photos and complete the process.

  • Make sure your photos are clear and easy to see.
  • Yahoo! Real Estate lets you upload more than one photo, so feel free to take interior and exterior shots to further entice future buyers.
