Book Lodging and Transportation for Telemark

Step1
Book your accommodations at the renowned Telemark Resort via the Web site (see Resources below) or call (877) 798-4718. The resort offers inexpensive guest rooms, moderate to expensive suites and condominiums. All accommodations feature a rustic, cabin-like feel.
Step2
Flying your private plane to the Telemark Lodge? The Cable Union Airport runway is just a few hundred feet from the lodge entrance! More information and pilot's packages can be found on the Telemark Ski Resort Web site.

Get to Know Your Ski Destination

Step1
Check snow conditions by calling the Telemark Resort toll free at (877) 798-4718 and pressing "3," or checking the Web site. The resort makes its own snow, so check to find out which trails have enough snow and are open.
Step2
Enjoy the views of the beautiful Wisconsin Northwoods, right outside of the Chequamegon National Forest. The resort offers heights of 1,400 feet at the base of the mountain to 1,771 feet at the top, with a vertical drop of 370 feet.

Prepare for the Slopes in Telemark

Step1
Ski on the 40 miles of world-class cross-country skiing trails at Telemark. Cross-country skiing is one of the most popular attractions at the resort, and Telemark hosts several cross-country skiing races every year.
Step2
Take advantage of the skiable area outside of the cross-country trails. No night skiing is permitted at the resort.
Step3
Snowboard with no fear of alpine skiers getting in your way at Telemark. There are two slopes reserved just for snowboarders at the resort: the Berard slope, with complete jumps and other obstacles, and the Christi Bowl, designed for snowboarders only.
Step4
Enjoy the large variety of snow sport activities the Telemark Resort has to offer: snow tubing, an ice skating rink, snowmobile trails, over 20 miles of snow shoeing trails, horse-drawn sleigh rides and dog-sledding weekends. Schedules can be found on the Web site.
