When you come Snowshoe Mountain, West Virginia, you'll get more than just downhill skiing: cross-country, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, tubing and special tours are all available. However, with a 1,500-foot vertical drop, 4,850-foot elevation and 57 ski trails, a day of downhill would be hard to pass up. The resort is located in the Allegheny Mountains just off US-219.

Book a Ski Trip to Snowshoe Mountain

Step1
Buy lodging packages right on the Snowshoe Mountain Web site (see Resources below). You can also reserve your rooms by phone at 1-877-441-4FUN.
Step2
Select from a wide variety of on-site accommodations, from luxurious, pricier chalets to moderately priced hotel rooms. Many of the rooms offer great views of the mountains, and some have spacious decks from which to enjoy the scenery.

Choose from an adult, senior or junior pass when you book a ski trip to Snowshoe, West Virginia. Season passes give you unlimited use of the ski area and are priced at reasonable rates.

Step1
Gather your girl friends for a ladies' outing to Snowshoe Mountain. The resort offers special women's ski and snowboard camps. Prices vary, but are typically quite reasonable and include lodging.

Review the lesson schedules if you are new to skiing. Beginning classes are not always offered. Book in advance for private lessons, as well. Private lessons can only be taken by children 3 years and up.

Rent equipment with ease. Snowshoe Mountain has one of the largest and best equipment stashes in the West Virginia region. If you book through the reservation center, you can save a bit of money off the normal walk-in rate.
