Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Phone
  • Computer with Internet access
  • Lodging reservations if your trip is overnight

Consider Lodging and Skiing Options for Your Trip

Step1
Book your accommodations by calling Stevens Pass at 206-812-4510 or using its Web site (see Resources below). From the main page, click on the 'Lodging' link on the bottom right-hand side. From here, it's easy to book accommodations in Lake Chelan, Wenatchee Valley, Leavenworth or Westside. You can also find great skiing and lodging package deals.
Step2
Find familiar chain hotels at budget prices in the area, or try something new by staying in an area lodge or bed and breakfast. Many of these moderately priced accommodations have rustic exteriors with surprisingly luxurious amenities, including hot tubs, fireplaces and gorgeous mountain views.
Step3
Buy an annual season pass if you plan to ski at Stevens Pass regularly. The season pass is the equivalent of about 17 daily passes and has many added benefits. There are available discounts for families, children, students and seniors. Also consider the Stevens Advantage pass, which is better suited for folks planning to ski less than 17 times during the season.
Step4
Begin your trip by reading a current ski report. You'll find this report under 'Conditions' on the Web site's main page. If you would like to receive the 'Daily Snow Report' via email, click through the 'Conditions' link to the 'Snow Report' page.
Step5
Look forward to a vertical drop of 1,800 feet and an elevation of 5,845 on Cowboy Mountain.

Travel to Stevens Pass

Step1
Book flights in the Seattle Tacoma International Airport if coming from outside of Washington. Book a rental car to get to Stevens Pass, located about 80 miles away off of U.S. Highway 2.
Step2
Find driving directions to Stevens Pass on the 'Getting Here' section of the Web site. It will give you directions from several areas and will also provide a link to updated driving conditions and alerts.
Step3
Consider alternative transportation, such as the shuttle that takes you to and from the town of Sultan or the Nordic Center. There are also options for arranging carpooling. Find out more on the 'Parking and Transportation' section of the Web site.
