Step1
Explore lodge, hotel, and motel options in the city of Leavenworth. There are a number of packages available, including ski packages, spa packages and romance packages. Visit the Leavenworth Lodging Web site for more information (see Resources below).

Consider season ski passes. The Leavenworth Ski Hill has several options, that you can learn more about on the 'Season Passes' section of the Web site (see Resources below). There are options for Alpine passes, Nordic passes, or combined passes, and there are great deals for kids.

Leavenworth Ski Hill offers a wide range of activities for a very moderate price. There's a terrain park, a tubing hill, cross-country trails and more on this 400-foot hill.

Get to Leavenworth Ski Hill

Step1
Book a flight into the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, if coming from outside the state of Washington. Book a rental car and drive to the scenic town of Leavenworth, about 2 hours east of the Seattle area.

Find driving directions under the 'Leavenworth' category on the top menu of the Web site (see Resources below). It will provide you a map and a list of the distances between Leavenworth and major cities in Washington.

  • This is definitely a place to introduce your kids to skiing and other activities in the snow--the average age of the skier here is 7 years old!
  • Get season passes and book lodging online for the greatest convenience.
