Badger Mountain, Washington is a small ski area located in central Washington, just north of Wenatchee and about 170 miles east of the greater Seattle metropolitan area. It's right outside the town of Waterville, Washington, and is basically run by the city. The concessions are even run by the local Lions club. It is a less expensive, less crowded but still challenging option among Washington's many skiing hot spots. It's also a great ski trip for beginners.
