Snö Mountain, Pennsylvania, just outside of Scranton, boasts the longest 'blue grade' intermediate run in the northeast Poconos, at over one mile long. A vertical drop of 1,000 feet on a mountain with a top elevation of 1,960 feet and 100 percent snowmaking and night skiing capacity keep happy skiers returning as often as they can to enjoy Snö Mountain.

Book Your Trip to Snö Mountain

Step1
Check the Snö Mountain Ski Resort Web site for a list of nearby accommodations providers (see Resources below). You'll see a variety of mid-level chain hotels represented, and contact information is provided. Expect to pay typical (i.e., inexpensive to moderate) chain hotel rates.

Access Snö Mountain, Pennsylvania just off Interstate 81 at Exit 51. Conveniently located in Scranton, Snö Mountain is only 2 hours from New York and Philadelphia, making it a great single day ski option for residents of these areas.

Take a car in from New York City, then use free hotel transportation to the base of Snö Mountain to forego the hassle of ice-time driving. Most of the closer hotels offer free shuttle service.
