How to Go Skiing in Timberline Lodge, Oregon
One of the most beautiful and famous skiing lodges in the country, the Timberline Lodge is perhaps best known for portraying the Overlook Hotel in the film 'The Shining.' Located in the Mt. Hood Recreational Area in Northeastern Oregon, the Timberline Lodge, which was built in 1937, has been declared a National Historic Landmark.
