Check the Mt. Ashland Ski Area Web site for conditions, weather and information on booking a trip (see Resources below). Make reservations directly with Mt. Ashland by calling (541) 482-2897. You can also book reservations through one of the lodging providers listed on the resort's Web site to take advantage of lift and lodging packages.

Book accommodations in Ashland, Oregon, where you'll find convenient lodging at a wide variety of price levels from relatively inexpensive to quite expensive. You can stay at family inns, standard chain hotels or unique resorts. Book directly through an accommodations provider's Web site or by phone.

Check out the Web site of the Ashland, Oregon Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Convention Bureau (see Resources below). You'll find a list of lodging providers in town as well as a central online booking service for local bed and breakfast inns.

Fly into the Rogue Valley International Airport, located just 14 miles from the nearby town of Ashland, Oregon. Four major airlines offer services into Ashland from most major cities in the Western United States.

Rent a car from one of the major rental companies located inside the Rogue Valley International Airport terminal. This will be the most convenient way to get around the town of Ashland, and to get up the mountain to the ski resort.
Arrive at Mt. Ashland

Check with resort employees at the lodge for any special concerns or safety issues in regards to ski conditions for that particular day.

Investigate the special discounts and packages available at the Rental Shop, especially for kids and those wishing to purchase half-day passes.

Drop your children off at the Kid's Club, which offers specially designed instruction for kids aged 4 to 12.
Be Challenged by Mt. Ashland!

Warm up at the beginner's slope at the bottom of the resort near the lodge before attempting some of the more challenging runs Mt. Ashland has to offer.

Take your choice of 23 trails and a bowl. There's a wide variety of terrain here, but not an excessive number of runs for beginners or the easily intimidated.

Enjoy a vertical drop of 1,150 feet on a mountain that receives an annual snowfall of around 300 inches. The mountain's top elevation is 7,503 feet.

Enter into the Oregon Snow Sculpture Competition, which is held annually at Mt. Ashland.
