Boston Mills is a full-service ski resort found in Ohio. It is partnered with the Brandywine Ski Resort. Although the resorts remain separate, it is possible for visitors to one of the resorts to use lift tickets at the other. Both resorts offer a wide range of amenities, such as dining options, ski lessons and equipment rentals, giving visitors twice as much to choose from.

2. Stay at a B&B inn for more personal service. There are several located near the Cuyahoga Valley National Park that are moderately priced.
3. Book a room at one of the inexpensive 2- and 3-star hotels in nearby Peninsula, Ohio. Most of the hotels in the city are from well-known brands that offer clean rooms and superior service.

4. Check the snow report on the Boston Mills/Brandywine Web site (see Resources below) before you leave on your vacation. The resort has been known to shut down during unseasonably warm periods during the winter.

6. Make time for a family ski lesson. Sunday nights at Boston Mills are Family Nights, where families can take a group ski lesson for a nominal fee.
