Travel to the Greek Peak Ski Area in New York should on your next ski trip. It is conveniently located near Syracuse, so you will be skiing on your ski trip in no time. Skiers, snow boarders and cross country skiers are all welcome at Greek Peak.

Book Lodging at Greek Peak Mountain Resort

Step1
Book lodging by visiting the Greek Peak Web site (see Resources below), or by calling them directly at 1-800-955-2SKI.
Step2
Know the Greek Peak area offers various privately owned homes and condos for rent, with prices ranging from moderate to expensive.
Step3
Choose a room at one of Greek Peak's Mountain Resort offerings, such as the Dionisian Heights and the Panorama Town home. The Dionisian Heights has 1 to 3 bedroom units with a loft. Units come with a washer, dryer and full kitchen. There is also a hot tub in the common area. The Panorama Town home is 1,900 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathroom units. In the town home is a hot tub, fireplace and kitchen.

Get to Know Greek Peak Mountain Resort

Step1
Land at the Syracuse Hancock International Airport in Syracuse, New York. The airport is approximately 36 miles from Greek Peak. To arrive by car from Syracuse, take I-81 south. Take exit 10 and then use Route 11 South to 392 West. For an alternate route, visit the Greek Peak Web site (see Resources below) and click 'The Mountain' link for detailed driving instructions.

Know that Greek Peak's summit elevation is 2,100 feet. The vertical drop is 952 feet. Greek Peak has an average snowfall of 110 inches.
Step3
Enjoy Greek Peak's 38 trails. There are 8 lifts and snowmaking covers 83 percent of the ski area. Greek Peak also offers night skiing.
