How to Go Skiing in Four Seasons Ski Center, New York

Consider the Four Seasons Ski Center in New York for your next family ski trip. Everything you need to have a fun trip is available at Four Seasons. For those who don't enjoy skiing, they can enjoy the snow tubing hill. A machine even pulls you back up the mountain so that you don't have to make the trip back up with your legs.

    Book Lodging at Four Seasons Ski Center

  1. Step 1

    Know that Four Seasons Ski Center in New York, has a wide variety of hotels nearby. These include bed and breakfasts, and various chain hotels with prices ranging from inexpensive to expensive.

  2. Step 2

    Book a room at one of Four Seasons Ski Center's many nearby bed and breakfasts, such as The Beard Morgan House. Or, at a hotel such as the Fairfield Inn by Marriott. The Beard Morgan House offers four bedroom suites with private bath. It was built in 1830 in the historic district of Fayetteville. The Fairfield Inn has 135 rooms and has high-speed Internet along with a continental breakfast.

  3. Get to Know Four Seasons Ski Center

  4. Step 1

    Land at the Syracuse Hancock Airport airport in Syracuse, NY. The airport is approximately 9 miles from the Four Seasons Ski Center. To arrive by car from Syracuse, take Route 690 to Route 481. Use the Fayetteville Route 5 east exit. Stay on Route 5 for 2 miles east of Fayetteville. For driving instructions from other areas, visit the Four Seasons Web site (see Resources below) and click 'Winter' tab and then 'Directions' link for detailed driving instructions.

  5. Step 2

    Know that Four Season's Ski Center summit elevation is 550 feet. The vertical drop is 100 feet. Four Seasons has an average snowfall of 125 inches.

  6. Step 3

    Enjoy the Four Season's 4 trails. There are 2 lifts and snowmaking covers 50 percent of the ski area. Four Seasons also offers night skiing.

  7. Prepare for the Slopes at Four Seasons Ski Center

  8. Step 1

    Check the Four Seasons Ski Center snow report by visiting their Web site and looking at the current weather report on the home page (see Resources below).

  9. Step 2

    Know that Four Seasons Ski Center offers some cross country skiing. There is no trail fee. You can rent cross country ski equipment or snow shoes.

Tips & Warnings
  • There is no way to book lodging on the Four Seasons Web site. The Fayetteville New York Chamber of Commerce Web site also does not offer booking, either. You may book through your local travel agent or through an online Web site.
