Book Lodging at Dry Hill Ski Area

Book lodging by visiting the Greater Watertown North County Chamber of Commerce Web site (see Resources below), or by calling them directly at (315) 788-4400.

Know that near Dry Hill Ski Area in New York, there is a wide variety of local hotels. These include campgrounds, lodges, motels and hotels, trailer parks, inns and cottages, with prices ranging from budget to expensive.
Step3
Choose a room at one of Dry Hill Ski Area's many hotels, such as the Angel Rock Lodge and the Bonnie Castle Year Round Resort. The Angel Rock Lodge offers cottage rentals in nearby Cape Vincent, New York. It has nice views of the St. Lawrence river. The Bonnie Castle Resort includes standard accommodations, along with offering jacuzzi rooms and presidential suites.

Get to Know Dry Hill Ski Area

Step1
Land at the Syracuse International Airport in Syracuse, New York. The airport is approximately 66 miles from Dry Hill. To arrive by car from Watertown, from I-81 take the Watertown Center Exit. Go east on Route 232, then turn left onto Route 11. Follow the signs once you reach the Brookside Cemetery. For an alternate route, visit the Dry Hill Web site (see Resources below) and click 'Directions.'

Know that Dry Hill's summit elevation is 950 feet. The vertical drop is 300 feet. Dry Hill has an average snowfall of 125 inches.

Know that Dry Hill has 7 trails. There are 3 lifts and snowmaking covers 75 percent of the ski area. Dry Hill also offers night skiing.
