Pajarito Mountain is a small but well-run ski resort that has some of the best skiing in the state (and perhaps the country). Located in the Jemez Mountains and known as 'New Mexico's best kept secret,' Pajarito Mountain is much loved for its short lift lines, excellent skiing terrain and friendly atmosphere. For those who don't need a mega-resort experience, be sure to to book a ski trip to Pajarito Mountain.

Book Your Stay at Pajarito Mountain

Step1
Check out the Los Alamos Meeting & Visitor Bureau Web site (see Resources below) to find accommodations near Pajarito Mountain. Click the 'Ski Packages and Special Offers' button on the home page to see the current deals. Call the Visitor Bureau at 800-444-0707 if you need booking assistance.
Step2
Stay in towns nearby to Pajarito Mountain, as the mountain itself does not offer lodging. Los Alamos, White Rock and Jemez Springs are all within short driving distance of the mountain and offer a wide variety of moderately priced to expensive accommodations. Book a room in a bed-and-breakfast, inn, resort-spa or commercial hotel.

Travel from larger cities in New Mexico such as Santa Fe and Albuquerque to Pajarito Mountain. Los Alamos is a mere 34 miles from Santa Fe, a scenic 80 miles to the south of Albuquerque. It's located on Camp May Road.
