With a 7,900-foot base elevation, Mt. Rose is the highest ski area in the Lake Tahoe region. Its summit rises to 9,700 feet, giving the ski area a very respectable 1,800-foot vertical drop. Mt. Rose has more than 60 runs spread out over 1,200 skiable acres, which means you'll have plenty of ground to cover. The longest run is a full 2.5 miles.
