Book Accommodations and Travel for Your Ski Trip

Step1
Take advantage of ski-and-stay packages to save money on lift tickets and lodging. Visit the Mt. Rose Web site to see a list of area accommodations and current deals (see Resources below). Contact the resort at 1-800-SKI-ROSE for further advice about accommodations.
Step2
Book a room at one of Reno's entertaining casinos and enjoy a unique blend of a ski vacation and a ritzy getaway. Most of these establishments aren't too pricey--as long as you don't spend too much at the blackjack table, that is. Some casinos offer shuttles to the mountain (the trip only takes 25 minutes). Shuttles are usually free.
Step3
Find a list of Reno accommodations at the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority Web site (see Resources below). You can search for everything from bed and breakfasts to RV parks. Call 1-800-FOR-RENO if you have questions about where to stay during your trip.
Step4
Plan to land at the Reno/Tahoe Airport. This is the closest commercial airport to the Mt. Rose area.

Learn about the price categories for lift tickets at Mt. Rose, Nevada. Prices are set for senior skiers, adult skiers, junior skiers and child skiers. Rates for all-day ski lift passes are fairly moderate, with children's lift tickets offered at a discount. Season passes are also available.
