Plan a ski trip to Elko Snobowl, the only ski area in the northeastern corner of Nevada. Here you'll find Alpine skiing, snow tubing runs and snowboarding runs. The base elevation for Elko Snobowl is 6,300 feet, the summit elevation is 7,000 feet and the vertical drop is 700 feet. It has 1 chairlift and 2 tow ropes, and about 100 acres worth of bowl skiing (generally best for more advanced skiers).
