Stay close to the Marshall Mountain ski area. There are many familiar chain hotels located in Downtown Missoula that are within a 10-minute drive to Marshall. Prices will vary by the type of hotel that you select, but you shouldn't have any trouble fining budget-friendly accommodations.

Look for accommodations in East Missoula if you want to book a very inexpensive room.

Arrive by land or air. You can either drive to Marshall Mountain or land at the Missoula International Airport (MSO). This airport offers several direct flights from both in-state locations and cities such as Seattle, Denver and Salt Lake City.

Learn about lift tickets. At Marshall Mountain, Montana you can buy a full day, hourly, night or midnight madness lift ticket. Prices are typically quite reasonable.

Bring your own equipment if possible. However, while rental equipment isn't always available at the mountain, there are ski equipment and sporting good rental companies in the nearby city of Missoula.
