Plan Your Trip to Big Mountain

Step1
Book on-site lodging through the Big Mountain Ski Resort Web site (see Resources below). Go to the 'Lodging' link under the 'Trip Planning' section. You can also call 800-858-4152 to reach the Central Reservations staff. Enjoy privacy in a single-family Town Home, stay near both the village and the ski lifts at Edelweiss or book an inexpensive to moderately priced room at Hibernation House.
Step2
Take a closer look at each lodging option by clicking on the 'Explore More' link. This should give you more detailed rate information, as well as a list of the amenities and services that are offered. Room rates that are listed on the Big Mountain Web site are estimates and can change due to room availability and the time of year you want to book a room.
Step3
View a current ski report for Big Mountain on the home page of its Web site.

Arrange Your Transportation

Step1
Book a flight into Glacier Park International Airport and arrange for transportation to the resort. If you rent a car from the Glacier Park International Airport, take I-90 West to U.S. Highway 93 for 125 miles.
Step2
Find driving directions from various points throughout Montana. Click on the heading 'Trip Planning' and choose 'Getting Here' from the pull-down menu.
Step3
Arrive by train. The town of Whitefish is a major stop for Amtrak's 'Empire Builder' train.
