Snow Creek is located in the town of Weston, Missouri (about an hour's drive from Kansas City) and is one of the few places in the state of Missouri that offers the opportunity to ski or snowboard. Although the summit of Snow Creek mountain reaches to only about 1,000 feet, its advanced snow-making capabilities allow it to make almost a foot of man-made snow each day. The ski hill itself has a 300-foot vertical drop, with 30 percent of the runs aimed at beginners, 60 percent at intermediate skiers and 5 percent at advanced skiers.
