Hidden Valley is a ski resort located in the town of Wildwood, Missouri. With a 310-foot vertical drop and more than 30 skiable acres, there's a variety of terrain for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy. You'll find 30 percent of the slopes geared toward beginners, with 60 percent aimed at intermediate skiers and 10 percent at advanced skiers. The closest ski resort to the city of St. Louis, Hidden Valley is also one of the few ski resorts in the entire region.

Book Your Accommodations

Step1
Go to the official Web site of Hidden Valley ski resort (see Resources below). Click on the 'Plan and Buy' link and choose the 'Lodging' option from the pull-down menu. Step2
Book rooms at one of the area's half-dozen mid-level chain hotels. There are also group cabin rentals available at Camp Wyman near Hidden Valley. Prices for area chain hotels range from budget to moderately priced.

Prepare for Your Trip to Hidden Valley

Step1
Find specific information on lift ticket, ski lesson and rental prices by going to the 'Lift Tickets & Rentals' section of the Web site. Take note of any multi-day lift ticket specials that are being offered. Prices are moderate.

Go to the 'Snow Report' section of the Hidden Valley Web site to check on current skiing conditions. You can also call 636-938-6999 to get the report by phone.

Check the calendar of events to find out if there are any special activities or events planned for days you will be at the resort.

Fly to Lambert-St. Louis International Airport in Missouri, and then rent a car to get to Hidden Valley. You'll take Interstate 44 West to U.S. Highway 109 to get to the resort.
