Opened in 1965, the Welch Village Ski and Snowboard Area offers you the latest in snowmaking and grooming technologies as well as the best service. Welch Village's snowmaking machines cover 100 percent of the ski resort, so there's almost always fresh powder.

Book Your Ski Trip Accommodations

Step1
Book your lodging through the Explore Minnesota Tourism Web site (see Resources below). Book by phone at 1-888-TOURISM.

Book a room in an affordable city. St. Paul is located next to Minneapolis, but the lodging prices here are significantly less expensive than Minneapolis. Deluxe hotel accommodations are moderately priced, while tourist-class hotels and motels are inexpensive.

Book a ritzy four-star hotel room in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Prices in this city are going to be high compared to hotel rooms in neighboring cities. Boutique hotel accommodations downtown will be moderate to expensive.
Step4
Stay with a group of friends in one of Welch Village's trailside bunkhouses. These bunkhouses sleep up to 30 people, and are not rented out to small parties. To book, call the ski resort at 651-222-7079 ext 20.
