Book Your Accommodations

Step1
Book online at the Treetops Resort Web site (see Resources below). You'll have your choice of 4 different types of accommodations: remodeled hotel rooms in the Lodge, spacious deluxe rooms at the Inn, multi-bedroom condos with amenities or private chalets. 'Stay and Ski' packages are inexpensive, while non-package rates can be expensive.
Step2
Call the Treetops Resort directly at 1-888-TREETOPS to make a reservation for on-site lodging by phone. Ask about special ski trip specials that are sometimes offered; you may be able to take advantage of free skiing or free lodging.
Step3
Find Treetops Resort in Gaylord, Michigan, off M-32 on Wilkinson Road.

Get to Know Treetops

Step1
Challenge your snowboarding skills by shredding over to the terrain park and quarter pipe. Experience demanding moguls, tabletops and breathtaking jumps.
Step2
Go tubing or get some healthy exercise by engaging in some cross-country skiing. Treetops has facilities for both.
Step3
Look into the rental equipment available at Treetops Resort. Skis, snowboards and snowblades are available at reasonable prices for juniors, teens and adults.

Prepare for the Slopes

Step1
Take advantage of top-notch ski and snowboard instruction from certified instructors to learn the basics or fine-tune your skills on the slopes.
Step2
Expect to find 80 skiable acres with a 225 foot vertical drop. The summit elevation is a hefty 1,345 feet, and it's served by 3 triple lifts, 3 rope tows and a double lift. Eighty percent of the runs are suitable for beginning and intermediate skiers.
Step3
See current slope conditions and weather information at the Treetops Resort Web site.

Tips & Warnings

  • Book online to easily limit your accommodations search to lodgings that fit your preferences.
  • Consider booking an early spring break ski trip at Treetops. The resort is open in March, and the resort sometimes runs spring promotions that offer discount skiing.
