Step1
Be aware that Snow Snake Mountain does not offer overnight accommodations on-site, but they do have 'play and stay' packages available by booking lodging with one of the local chain hotels within driving distance of the mountain. Visit the Snow Snake Web site to see listings of providers (see Resources below). Book directly with a provider using the contact information provided.
Step2
Visit the Clare County Convention and Visitors Bureau Web site for additional listings of accommodations providers in the area (see Resources below). Book directly with the provider listed or call the bureau at 800-233-1359 for more information. Expect a standard selection of motels, hotels and bed and breakfast inns.

Get to Know Snow Snake Mountain

Step1
Take trips down the slopes at your own pace. Snow Snake has plenty of different trails available that are ranked based on difficulty level. 30 percent of the slopes are designed for beginners, 45 percent are for intermediates and 10 percent of the slopes are set up for expert skiers.
Step2
Sit back and relax after a full day on the slopes by taking time to unwind in the 5,500 square foot bar & lounge located on site. Order some food, have a drink or just sit by the fire and keep warm.
Step3
Enjoy a fun-filled day on the slopes inside of a tube! Tubing is a great family activity and Snow Snake Mountain boasts 4 different tubing runs with 2 handle tows to get you back to the top of the mountain. Find out tubing hours by calling 989-539-6583.
Step4
Drive north for about an hour and 10 minutes from Saginaw, Michigan to reach Snow Snake Mountain by automobile. Take U.S. 127 for easy access to Snow Snake.

Prepare for the Slopes

Step1
Schedule some time with an instructor if you would like to learn how to ski before hitting the slopes. Snow Snake offers lessons from PSIA certified instructors and boasts one of Michigan's best beginner hills.
