Step3
Book inexpensive accommodations by looking into one of the hotel and motel chains located with driving distance of Shanty Creek. These lodgings offer more affordable prices and a short drive to your destination.
Step4
Book travel in to Chicago, Detroit or other Michigan cities. You can also fly in to the closer but smaller Traverse City Cherry Capital Airport.

Step1
Ski the slopes and have a ball on one of Shanty Creek's famous downhill runs. With 2 mountains to choose from and runs as long as 5,280 feet, Shanty Creek offers an array of slopes for even the pickiest skier. Check out snow conditions before you go on the resort's Web site.
