Call the Tourism Association of the Dickinson County Area at (800) 236-2447 for a listing of area lodging, or book through its Web site (see Resources below). The staff will help you select a motel or bed and breakfast near Norway Mountain. The majority of accommodations in this area are chain hotels and motels.

Reserve on-site accommodations at the Trail Side Lodging through the Norway Mountain Ski and Snowboard Resort Web site (see Resources below). These 2-bedroom, ski-out condos are moderately priced. Enjoy a cathedral ceiling in the living room, plus your own private sauna. Reserve online or by phone at 1-800-272-5445.

Step 1
Fly into the Norway Airport. Rent a car to drive to Norway Mountain. The resort is located off U.S. Route 2, just east of Norway.

Bring your own skis and snowboards or rent what you need when you arrive. Call ahead for equipment availability.

Explore the winter sports opportunities. Along with exciting downhill Michigan skiing and snowboarding for all ages, take in the NASTAR racing and the Team Norway youth races.

Click on the 'Snow Report' link on the main page of the resort's Web site for an up-to-date ski report. Knowing what to expect of the weather will help you plan for your Michigan ski trip.

Take advantage of instruction and classes for all levels of expertise and for children and adults of all ages. Special attention is given by professional instructors to children who are just beginning to ski.
