The Bousquet Ski Area & Family Fun Center is located in the Berkshires in Massachusetts. Sitting on 200 ski-able acres, it offers 24 trails, five lifts, a top elevation of 1,875 feet and a vertical drop of 750 feet.

Book Lodging for Your Ski Trip to Bousquet

Step1
Reserve lodging through The Berkshire Visitors Bureau Web site (see Resources below). You can also book lodging by calling (800) 237-5747, ext. 140. From the Web site, click on the "Where to Stay" link and then choose Pittsfield or Lenox from the drop-down menu.
Step2
Live like a character from a period movie by opting to stay in one of the handful of historical lodgings located near the Bousquet Ski Area. You can unwind in a Federal-style home or soak up the luxury of a Tudor-style mansion. Rates can be quite expensive, so bring deep pockets.
Step3
Get an early start on the slopes by picking a hotel in Pittsfield or Lenox. These communities are home to hotels that are just 1 to 4 miles from Bousquet. Rates range from budget to moderate.

Travel to Bousquet

Step1
Fly into the Albany International Airport. Know that, despite its name, the airport only offers a handful of international flights to Canada. Most of its flights are domestic.
Step2
Rent a car and hit Route 20 East. Take it all the way into Pittsfield. Turn right at the intersection of Route 7, to get onto Route 7 South. Travel about 2 miles to a sign for Pittsfield Airport, and take a right on Dan Fox Drive. Bousquet is on this road, less than 1 mile away.

Enjoy Your Massachusetts Ski Trip

Step1
Enjoy some of the most affordable rates you'll find anywhere by skiing at Bousquet. Even weekend and holiday lift tickets are inexpensive. You can save even more by choosing to book a mid-week ski trip to Bousquet.
Step2
Get a moonlit view of Bousquet and save a few bucks by opting to ski after dark, when lift passes are cheaper. Night rates officially kick in at 3 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Step3
Take a break from skiing by taking advantage of the tubing offered at Bousquet. Prepare for a three-hour tubing session.
Step4
Contact Bousquet at (413) 442-8316 for information on how best to reserve your pass.

Locate a ski report when you click on the "Ski Conditions" link on the main page of the Bousquet Web site (see Resources below).

Tips & Warnings

  • If you've got the money, you may want to consider chartering a plane into Bousquet. Nearby Pittsfield Airport is available for charter flights.
  • Bosuquet offers inexpensive ski equipment rentals.
  • Try booking online for special deals.
  • Kids and beginners will feel right at home at Bousquet. It offers a fair amount of gentle slopes that nicely accommodate beginners.
  • Be aware that Bousquet doesn't offer night skiing on Sundays.
