Call the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau at (888) SEE BOSTON to reserve your accommodations near Blue Hills. You can also book lodging through their Web site (see Resources below).

Enjoy big-city comfort by booking a hotel in Boston. The Blue Hills ski area is a mere 10 minutes away by car. Like any big city, Boston has rooms ranging in price from budget to expensive. Unlike other big American cities, however, it's brimming with history, so consider staying in a landmark inn.

Step 3
Be moments away from the slopes by opting to stay in a hotel in one of the communities immediately surrounding the Blue Hills ski area. Check out hotels in Dedham, Randolph and Braintree, which are fewer than five miles from the Blue Hills ski area.

Step 1
Start your trip with a flight into Boston's Logan Airport. The airport services domestic flights, as well as those from Canada, Latin America and Europe.

Rent a car at the airport, and pick up I-93 South. Take the freeway all the way to exit 2B and continue on Washington Street. Continue on this road for one mile to arrive at Blue Hills.

Take advantage of the specials offered by the Blue Hills ski area. Lift tickets are very inexpensive for those skiing Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Sundays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Purchase an inexpensive, 8-hour weekday ticket. The price drops for those age 6 to 12.

Shred the weekend away by purchasing a weekend ticket. There are reasonable 4-hour and 8-hour passes available.

Call Blue Hills at (781) 828-5070 to purchase a season pass. The office is open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
