Located in southern Maine near the New Hampshire border, an easy drive from Portland, Shawnee Peak is well known for its night skiing. It has more than 40 trails and glades, with five lifts. Two terrain parks and a 400-foot half pipe keep snowboarders happy.

Plan Your Ski Trip to Shawnee Peak

Step1
Book your room reservations online. The Maine Tourism Association Web site offers online reservations (see Resources below), or call them at (207) 623-0363.
Step2
Bring all of your family and friends! Book the Shawnee Peak House, which offers lodging for up to 44 people. The inexpensive per-person rate includes lift ticket.
Step3
Put up your feet and take off your boots after a long day of downhill racing. Some of the local inns and bed and breakfast establishments offer inexpensive ski-and-stay packages, so your lift tickets are included when you book a room. These moderately priced packages are a great way to save.

Fill your tank with gas and hit the road. The drive is less than 1 hour from Portland, Maine and 1.75 hours from Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
