How to Go Skiing in Mt. Abram, Maine

Just five minutes from Bethel, Maine, near the New Hampshire border, Mt. Abram Ski Resort is family friendly and welcomes skiers of all ages. It has 44 trails and a top elevation of 2,000 feet with a great view of the Lakes Region. The longest trail is 2.5 miles. The longest tubing park in Maine (1,325 feet) is located here, too.

2. Experience luxury accommodations at a country-club setting when you travel to Mt. Abram. These accommodations range from expensive to moderately priced, depending on the season.
3. Explore vacation rentals in the Mt. Abram area if you are traveling with a large group. These are very affordable, especially when you divide the cost of the rental among the travelers.

5. Book a flight to Portland International Jetport and then rent a car.
6. Drive north on I-95 to Route 26. Head out on the highway to the junction of Route 26 and Route 2. If you need to go from Bangor, go south on Route 2.
