Step1
Book your accommodations through the Maine Tourism Association by calling (207) 623-0363 or visiting their Web site (see Resources below).
Step2
Book a room at the on-site hotel. In addition to moderately priced standard king and double rooms, there are also dorm rooms for groups. These combine bunk beds and double beds to sleep 8.
Step3
Reserve a waterfront cabin or cottage on Moosehead Lake. These accommodations range from rustic to ritzy: You'll find many affordable options as well as some more expensive options that come complete with Jacuzzi bathtubs and vaulted ceilings.
Step4
Land at Bangor International Airport and drive the rest of the way. The closest large airport in Canada is Quebec Jean Lesage International Airport. Greenville has a small airport for general aviation aircraft.
Step5
Reach Big Squaw Mountain Resort via Route 15. I-95 is the closest interstate freeway, and those coming from Canada should take Route 173.
Step6
Book your lift tickets in advance. The Big Squaw Mountain Resort reservation line is (800) 754-6246. You also have the option of purchasing your lift tickets at the resort in person.
