Riverside Hills Ski Resort is located approximately eight miles outside of Iowa City, Iowa. This ski area is a popular destination for college students and families seeking an exciting escape of snowboarding and skiing on six downhill trails. The longest run is 1,400 feet, while the skiable area is slightly more than 40 acres. The ski resort gets over 60 inches of annual snowfall and also has snow-making ability. Easily accessible by car, Riverside Hills is a family-friendly ski resort ideal for those being introduced to the sport and for others looking for nearby slopes to sharpen their skills.
