Organize Transportation for a Ski Trip to Mohawk Mountain

Step1
Book your ski trip to Mohawk Mountain, located at 46 Great Hollow Rd. West Cornwall, Connecticut. The ski resort is located west of Torrington, southwest of Winsted and directly north of New Milford.
Step2
Drive into Mohawk Mountain from New York City by taking Interstate 684 North to I-84 East and then Exit 7 to Route 7 North. Mohawk Mountain is on the right side once you have turned onto Route 4 going east off of Route 7.

Know Your Destination

Step1
The Mohawk Mountain ski area has been in existence for almost sixty years, nestled in the beautiful southern Berkshire Mountains. The tip of the elevation summit reaches over 1,500 feet with around 25 different trails.

The founder of the Mohawk Mountain skiing area was Walt Schoenknecht, a member of the Skiing Hall of Fame and inventor of the widely used process of snowmaking.
Step3
Stop in to the ski shop once you have arrived and you will find any items you may have left behind. The store has boots and helmets of all sizes and other needed accoutrements. It is open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. excluding Sunday when it closes at 4:00 p.m.
