Book a Ski Trip to Wolf Creek

Step1
Choose from accommodations on the west or east sides of the mountain. Wolf Creek's Web site has extensive listings in all price ranges (see Resources below). Accommodations include friendly bed and breakfast inns, remodeled homes, secluded condos and, of course, hotels and motels.
Step2
Call accommodations providers directly using the numbers on the Wolf Creek Web site to book lodging. Find more accommodations online by visiting the Colorado Tourism Office Web site (see Resources below) and following the links to local hotels that appear when you do an accommodations search. You can also call (800) COLORADO for info.
Step3
Purchase lift tickets on-site but preview the rates on Wolf Creek's Web site. Season passes are also available for purchase. Discounted rates are given to seniors, students and children. Planning your trip during the week can also save you some money.
Step4
Find a daycare center for your child(ren) under four years of age. Wolf Creek does not have a daycare facility on-site, but they do provide a list of recommended daycare providers on their Web site.
Step5
Travel to Wolf Creek in a pack of 25 or more to receive special group discounts.
Step6
Book travel through Denver or Colorado Springs, both within four hours from Wolf Creek. From Denver take Highway 285 to Highway 150. From Colorado Springs take Highway 25 to Highway 150. Wolf Creek is located between the towns of South Fork and Pagosa Springs.

Conquer the Mountain

Step1
Visit Wolf Creek's Web site for a detailed snow report. You can also call (800) SKI-WOLF. Find out the status of each lift and which areas of the mountain are open to skiers.
Step2
Take a lesson at Wolf Creek's ski school. Tickets for school are only available on the day of instruction at the ticket office. View current rates online.
Step3
Rent the equipment you need to conquer the mountain. Wolf Creek offers standard ski and snowboarding equipment. Demo skis are also available if you want the latest in ski equipment technology.
Step4
Download and print Wolf Creek's trail map and set out on the slopes.

Tips & Warnings

  • Neither the Wolf Creek Web site nor the Colorado Tourism Office offer direct online booking. Contact the lodging providers directly to book by phone or online.
