Step5
Purchase your lift tickets online at least seven days in advance and save some cash. If you plan on multiple trips to Telluride, purchase a season pass, also available online.
Step6
Whether you've never seen skis before or were born to pole plant, improve yourself by attending Telluride's ski school. Contact the ski school at (800) 801-4832 or (970) 728-7507 for reservations or more information.

Hit the Slopes and Conquer the Mountain

Step1
Look at the local weather forecast and snow report online at the Telluride Ski Resort Web site before setting out. You can also view a detailed report on all the trails and lifts. Certain trails may be open, but be sure the lift to get to them is operational.
Step2
Browse through Telluride's online multimedia gallery. View exciting videos, breathtaking photographs and real-time video coverage. Know the mountain before you ever set foot on a slope.
Step3
Download full size pictures of the trail map. Take note of all Telluride has to offer, from beginner trails to black diamond steeps, from an entry-level terrain park to the extreme daredevil's playground.
