With 470 usable acres, 67 different slopes, a growing terrain park and miles of cross-country trails, Sunlight Mountain has it all, including a steep vertical drop of 2,010 feet and a bracing top elevation of 9,895 feet.

Book a Ski Trip to Sunlight Mountain

Step1
Hop on to Sunlight Mountain's Web site for a listing of rustic lodges, charming local or chain hotels and cozy bed and breakfast inns (see Resources below). Prices range from inexpensive to moderate. Book accommodations by calling the listed numbers or following the links provided.
Step2
Book accommodations near the Sunlight Mountain Resort by visiting the Colorado Tourism Office Web site (see Resources below) and following the links to local hotels that appear when you do an accommodations search. You can also call (800) COLORADO to speak with someone directly.
Step3
Book travel into Denver, which is about three hours away from Sunlight Mountain. You'll take Interstate 70 west to Glenwood Springs. From Glenwood Springs, take Highway 82 to 27th Street to Four Mile Road. Four Mile Road ends at Sunlight Mountain ski resort.
Step4
Attend ski school to brush up on your skiing or try snowboarding for the first time. Call (800) 445-7931 or (970) 945-7491 to make reservations.
Step5
Purchase season passes online. For Family or Corporate ski passes, visit Sunlight Mountain's downtown store or call at (970) 945-9425 or (970) 945-7491.
Step6
Leave your children in the care of Sunlight Mountain's professionals. Daycare is available for children aged 18 months to 6 years. If daycare is not enough, sign your kids up for ski lessons. Reservations are highly recommended. Call (970) 945-7491, extension 248.
