SolVista Basin is perfect for the occasional skier. With the East Mountain almost entirely for low to medium level skiers, forget the bunny slope and choose from several trails. For the more experienced skiers, climb to 9,166 feet and seek your thrills on the West Mountain, which has a heftier vertical drop of 1,000 feet.

1. Book lodgings in the SolVista area by calling [phone]. You'll have a choice of hotels with full amenities, premier condos or new vacation homes. Rates are moderate to expensive.
