Book Your Trip to Loveland

Step1
Book your entire trip to Loveland, including airfare, lodging and lift tickets. Log on to Loveland Central Reservations' Web site to find the best trip package for your needs (see Resources below). You can also call (800) 225-LOVE or send an email to info@lovelandreservations.com.
Step2
Choose between standard hotel rooms or suites in Georgetown or Summit County, condo accommodations (some with spectacular views) or Victorian-style bed and breakfast inns. Rates for accommodations cover a wide range, though most tend toward the inexpensive end of the spectrum.
Step3
Purchase your lift ticket in advance at dozens of locations throughout Colorado. A full list of participating locations is available on Loveland's Web site.
Step4
Purchase a season pass online if you plan on several trips to the slopes. If you are free during the week, purchase a midweek season pass, which is valid for unlimited skiing on all days except holidays and weekends.
Step5
Book a ski lesson if you are new to the slopes or want to move to the next level. Snowboard lessons are also available. Reserve your spot by calling (303) 571-5580, extension 163, or send an email to skischool@skiloveland.com
Step6
Take advantage of the Loveland child care center. Reservations are highly recommended. Call toll-free at (800) 736-3754, extension 118, or send an email to childcare@skiloveland.com.
Step7
Book travel into Denver, Colorado as it is only about an hour away from the Loveland Ski Area. Take the I-70 west to Exit 216 to reach the resort. The closest towns are Georgetown and Silverthorne.

Get to Know Loveland Ski Resort

Step1
Log on to Loveland's Web site for the most current status of the slopes. Whether you dare to face the double black diamond or plan to steer clear, be sure the that courses you can ski are open for business.
Step2
Loveland has cameras set up throughout the ski area and those pictures are posted daily on their Web site.
Step3
Download and print Loveland's brochures. They include contact information, ticket prices and trail maps.
Step4
Park for free at Loveland. The parking lots are conveniently located at the foot of the hills: no long hike necessary to start your full day of skiing. There is also a shuttle to take you between the two separate areas of Loveland, the Basin and the Valley.
Step5
Rent your ski or snowboard equipment if you do not have your own. You must use a major card as a deposit.
Step6
Fix your gear at Loveland's repair shop. Whether you need a full repair or just a tune up, drop off your gear and leave it to the experts. For more information, send an email to rentalshop@skiloveland.com.

Tips & Warnings

  • Book online through a major travel site if you want to see a large number of lodging options. Military personnel and their immediate family receive a discount on season passes. Call (800) 736-3754, extension 136 for more information.
  • Make sure the ski resort is open. Often the same snow that makes for great skiing makes the roads to get there dangerous to drive.
