How to Go Skiing in Echo Mountain, Colorado

Echo Mountain, Colorado, is located at the base of the Colorado Rocky Mountains and is just a short trip from Denver. This is not your typical ski destination. Echo Mountain is an all-terrain park with a rad superpipe, tons of jumps, rails and awesome music pumped through the sound system at all times. Echo Mountain aims to be the hippest place to ride in Colorado.

Book Lodging Near Echo Mountain

Step1
Book accomodations by visiting the Colorado Ski Web site (see Resources below) or call Echo Mountain Lodging at (303) 325-7347.
Step2
Consider a "Shred and Bed" package which offers moderately priced accommodations and day passes to Echo Mountain.
Step3
Crash in a nearby Denver suburb.

Get to Echo Mountain

Step1
Fly into Denver International Airport, the closest airport to Echo Mountain.
Step2
Get there from Denver. Echo Mountain is 35 miles from downtown Denver and 60 miles from the airport. It's the closest resort to Denver.

Prepare for the Slopes at Echo Mountain

Step1
Check the daily snow report and get info on special events and promotions by visiting Echo Mountain's Web site (see Resources below).
Step2
Play it safe if you're not experienced. Take a lesson before venturing out on your own. Echo Mountain offers beginner lessons and workshops that will have you doing 360s in no time.

Tips & Warnings

  • Riders at Echo must sign a waiver (or have their parents sign if they're under 18) to release the park from liability for injury.
