The largest regional airline in the world, American Eagle is a partner of American Airlines and flies to over 140 destinations throughout North America. With eight hubs across the United States, American Eagle offers customers over 1,800 flights a day. Here's how to book travel on American Eagle.

    Book Travel on American Eagle Airlines

  1. Step 1

    Use the American Airlines Web site to book tickets (see Resources below) or call and arrange flights with American Airlines sales agents at (800) 433-7300.

  2. Step 2

    Book seats through a travel agent to take advantage of package deals, especially when planning vacation travel.

  3. Step 3

    The American Airlines "NetSaver" program for online users also applies to American Eagle flights. Fare sales are posted on its Web site.

  4. Step 4

    American Eagle provides service to over 25 Caribbean destinations including the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, Trinidad and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

  5. Step 5

    American Eagle Airlines provides comprehensive service in the United States, with as many as 20 destinations in Texas and 10 in California. Service to eastern Canada includes regular flights to Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax.

    American Eagle flies to seven Mexican cities north of Mexico City, including Guadalajara and Monterrey.

    American Eagle jets are small but comfortable, and each flight is serviced by at least one flight attendant. The Bombardier CRJ700 jet offers 70 leather seats, and the three types of Embraer aircraft have seating capacities of 37, 44 and 50 passengers.

    American Eagle jet-powered turbo-prop aircraft includes the Saab 340b, which can seat up to 34 passengers, and the larger Super ATR can accommodate between 64 and 66 passengers.
