How to Book Travel on Aeromexico

Since its birth in 1934, Aeromexico has grown into the largest airline in Latin America, with a fleet of massive Boeing 777s and smaller SAAB 340Bs. Here's how to book flights all over the world via this carrier.

Instructions

  1. Book Airfare on AeroMexico

    • 1

Book a flight on AeroMexico by calling (800) 237-6639 or using the online reservation system (see Resources below).

    • 2

For travelers with flexible schedules looking for budget fares, try AeroMexico's FareSaver options. These discounted fares apply only to flights to major international airports with no connecting flights.

    • 3

If you plan to bring your pet onboard, you must acquire travel permits for them and bring proof of all required vaccinations. AeroMexico limits onboard pets to cats, dogs and small caged birds.

    • 4

Contact the AeroMexico Reservations Office for baggage that exceeds airline regulations. Travelers who have luggage exceeding 64 kilograms must pay an additional fee for each piece of luggage.

    Enjoy Your Flight on AeroMexico

    • 5

Arrive at the AeroMexico airport counter at least three hours before departure. Travelers must check their bags, go through customs and pass through security.

    • 6

AeroMexico's complimentary beverage service includes tea, coffee, soda and water.

    • 7

      AeroMexico's flights are smoke-free.

    • 8

You can make phone calls on AeroMexico's onboard phone. Calls are charged by the minute.

Understand Special Services and Rules of AeroMexico

    • 9

New customs regulations in North and South America require lengthy security checks at the airport. Bring your passport for all flights aboard AeroMexico. Travelers from outside North America should bring additional identification.

    • 10

Turn off your cell phone while flying Aeromexico. Use cell phones only when the plane door is open. Flight staff may prohibit cell phone use at any time.

    • 11

Travelers can use CD players, laptops and video cameras only when the plane is in the air and the seatbelt sign has been turned off.
